Seeking agent or publisher for: Season of Infamy: Charles Rist's Wartime Diary 1939-1945. Thanks to an NEA and Kittredge Foundation grants, I have completed an English translation of Une Saison gâtée (In So Corrupt an Age), the war journal of economist Charles Rist (1874-1955), edited and annotated by Jean-Noël Jeanneney (Fayard, 1983). Written during the German occupation of France, the journal is a moving account of the struggle of Rist's family and friends to survive, as well as a unique insight into the workings of the Vichy regime.
